Arizona

Today I have been thinking about the recent shooting of government officials in Tuscon. Now, I am a lifetime member of the NRA and my family and I have hunted as long as I can remember. I grew up in a house full of guns and I own 2 now. It may be cliche, but GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE, PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE. Put the blame where it belongs. Stricter gun laws wouldn't have stopped that attack, nor will it prevent another one. If that man didn't have a gun, he would have used a different weapon. What occurred was a tragedy, but it could have been worse...Imagine if he would have choose a car or a plane or a bomb! The number of people affected could have been unimaginable. I've been praying for those who were injured and who passed, and their families as well as the attackers family. God bless the USA.

  1. You are so right. Remember last year when that wackadoodle flew his plane into the FBI offices here in town? That was freaking NUTS!! It happened 1/2 a mile from PB, and everyone in Arbor Walk was having a total cow. The thought of that happening at a rally like the one in AZ, with all those people in attendance, is a scary, scary thing!

  2. Exactly! And I think them asking for stricter guns laws is silly. HELLO!!! They are criminals because they break the law not follow them!

  3. Ladies, gun control isn't about guns at all. It's about people control. "An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject"~Unknown

"You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for independence."

  4. Criminals are criminals because they do not control themselves. If making laws more strict was all it took, we would no longer have problems with rape, drugs, theft, child abuse, drinking and driving, illegal immigration and even speeding!
